TheLaunchSheet is an independent guide for people starting a cleaning business in the U.S. It isn't affiliated with any government agency, insurer or franchise.

Our rules

1. Official sources onlyEvery rule, fee and number comes from the agency that sets it: the IRS, SBA, or the state's own department. Never from another blog.
2. Read on the page itselfWe read each claim on the official page, not in a search summary. If we can't confirm it, it doesn't go on the site.
3. Dated and linkedEvery page shows the date we last checked it, and every fact links to its source. The full list is on our sources page.
4. Re-checked on a scheduleEvery January, whenever the IRS publishes new rates, and state pages every six months.

Rules change. If an official page now says something different, the official page is right. Please tell us so we can fix it.
